Most conversations start with one of these:
- a system that became difficult to trust
- unclear ownership across services
- deployment instability
- authorization drift
- infrastructure nobody fully understands anymore
Email is the best channel. Include whatever context already exists.
Architecture diagrams, rough notes, and partial explanations are fine. I would rather see the system as it actually is than a tidied version of it.
